Shailee started her career as a journalist working for Himalmedia Pvt Ltd. She was a youth issue columnist for Nepali magazine Himal. In addition, she also contributed to English weekly The Nepali Times and English magazine Wave. She still considers writing to be her first love. Following are some of her work.
